About Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is the science, art, and philosphy that concerns itself with the relationship between the nervous system and the proper functioning of the body. If a vertebral misalignnment is present, specific levels of the spine may cause irritation of the nervous tissue commonly called a "pinched" nerve. A Chiropractic adjustment is the use of a specific force applied to a fixed joint to return the vertebrae to a normal position. Over time, this will relieve pain and help restore health. However, underlying muscle and soft tissue damage may require continued care long after initial symptoms disappear. Regardless of the technique used, each adjustment is tailored to the patient's age, size, and unique spinal problem. Only when the nervous system improves, can the body begin the natural healing process.
